Fred Sigman has over 35 years of experience in the transportation industry, with extensive expertise in Managed Transportation, TMS functionality, and Carrier Operations. Throughout his career, Fred has achieved notable success as a business owner and was a key member of the executive team that led a tenfold capital expansion.
While expanding the family 3PL business (USTC), Fred recognized the potential of technology to drive further growth. He collaborated with MercuryGate to implement an online TMS for shippers and 3PL partners, which accelerated growth and streamlined operations by reducing manual processes. This technological advancement allowed the company to scale without increasing headcount or costs.
Fred also forged a strong relationship with BlueGrace, which played a crucial role in the acquisition of USTC. At BlueGrace, Fred became an essential part of the executive team, addressing challenges within various departments, leading Carrier Relations and Operations, and overseeing the integration of the previous Franchise network into BlueGrace.
Fred leverages his consultative approach to understand and address supply chain issues, offering both technical and practical transportation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
